Discipleship Ministries

Equipping our People to Experience Community

Our fellowship vision is to create an atmosphere of love and enthusiastic acceptance among the members and friends of our church family as well as with our community friends.  With this in mind, we are “equipping” teams of people in the skills needed to bring family-like love to our church family and friends.

Equipping our People for Life

Each of us is specially designed for fruitful living and impact as we serve the Lord Jesus.  Because it is vital for each believer to know their own unique design, a team of individuals is being “equipped” to help our people discover more fully their own giftedness, along with the added joy that comes when they serve God within their own special design.

Equipping our People in the Scriptures

The study of God’s word can be immeasurably rewarding.  Yet there is an even higher level of satisfaction when you’re “equipped” to use God’s word in ministry situations.  Therefore, teams of individuals are being trained to use God’s word in such ministries as:

  • encouragement counseling
  • visitation
  • and helping new believers deepen their relationships with God.

Equipping our People to Make a Difference

How do we do this?  By teaching them how Jesus did ministry and encouraging them to follow His pattern.

This means that our people are becoming “equipped” in such areas as:

  • telling His story
  • telling their own story
  • making progress with the “elbow” friends of their life
  • and coaching (ministering) another individual.
