Men's Ministry

• Uniting all men to serve God through evangelism;
• Supporting men in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ (fellowship);
• Equipping men for an eternal legacy as Disciples of Jesus Christ (service).
• Developing the personal skills necessary for men to be the spiritual leaders of their families & church (discipleship);

To accomplish this vision, we value:

• Growth -- increasing our knowledge and appreciation of our Lord Jesus Christ and understanding our role in the church, our families, community and work (Colossians 1:9-12);
• Relationships – connecting with and forming lifelong bonds with our brothers in Christ (Philippians 2:1-3);
• Outreach – reaching-out and touching our community with God’s love through service and various men’s activities (1 Peter 4:10-14).

We support this through various activities for men (See right column for more details).         

• Men's Wake Up Call -- Thursday mornings, 6:30 am at Barlow's restaurant on Mission in Liberty Lake. 
  We are currently taking a summer hiatus.  In the fall, each person will lead the discussion of a chapter of wahtever we decide to study.  Plan to join us in September -- all men are welcome! 

• Men's Retreat -- Men, we had a great retreat on May 13-14, 2011 at Riverview Bible Camp.  This was the first for Liberty Lake Church and we teamed with several other local churches.  

The theme for this event is IronMan Finisher -- how do you train, prepare and run the race of life.  We enjoyed great manly meals together, sang with a live band, and enjoyed fun "guy" activities.  Here's a video that summarizes the event -- Enjoy and plan to join us on April 27-28 in 2012.   

• Breakfast With Champions -- Quarterly Saturday morning breakfast.
  
  The next BWC is in the planning process for 2012. 
  
  The last event was another Battle & Breakfast with teams of men/boys to competing in various fun activities, competing in various events, including Basketball free throws, tomahawk throw, fly casting, washer toss, and golf chipping.  Everyone had a great time and also enjoyed a sumptious breakfast after the battle.

• Hurts, Habits, Hang-ups -- Individual mentoring for personal issues or addictions
  
  
• Sweetheart Dessert -- A celebration honoring our women held sometime around Valentine's Day.
