Small Groups

The Small Group Ministry Team wants to help everyone at LLCC find and be a part of a small group.  We believe that small groups are the key to caring in a biblical way for the people of our church family and our community as well.

Our small groups are called, “Life Together Groups.”  They are one of our most important places where we help one another live healthy, balanced spiritual lives.  We do this by giving attention to five of God’s purposes for His family members.

Connecting with God’s Family

It is important to our Heavenly Father that we get to know each other as persons.  So we share our joys, our growth and our needs.  When we connect in this way we develop “real” relationships and friendships with each other.

Growing to be like Christ

One of the things our Creator makes clear is that He wants us to learn truths from His Word.  This will help us get to know Jesus and stretch our intimacy with Him, as well as living our lives to reflect Him.

Serving with our God-Given Design

Each of us has a unique God-given design.  Our goal for one another is to help discover our spiritual gifts and natural abilities.  Then we help one another find a way to develop our gifts to serve others both inside and outside our church family.

Sharing your Life Mission Every Day

Jesus wanted all of His disciples to help outsiders connect with Him and to know Him personally.  So we help one another take small steps that take us beyond Bible study to Bible living.

Surrendering your Life for God’s Pleasure

God is most pleased by a heart that is fully His.  Meeting together helps us surrender our heart to God in prayer and worship.  We all need the support of others who are praying for us. Through worship and prayer we are helped to surrender our hearts and dreams into the hands of the One who knows us best.
