Pastor Dave C. Butler
Pastor David C. Butler, Senior Pastor Contact: dave@libertylakechurch.com
Pastor Dave grew up in the Pacific Northwest and became a believer during his high school years. His desire to learn more about Christ and the Bible took him to California for a total of 18 years.
About a year after graduating from Talbot Theological Seminary, in which time he went to Ireland as a missionary, he began leading a youth ministry in La Mesa, a suburb of San Diego. Shortly after moving to La Mesa, he met and married his wife Kathy.
In La Mesa, God prepared and led Pastor Dave to a preaching and teaching pastorate. This new role led Dave and his family to a pastorate San Bernardino and then to Liberty Lake.
Dave is ordained by the Evangelical Free Church of America.
Personal: Kathy and Dave have five children, Marcus, David, Stephen, Michael and Rachel. Even though Dave’s alma mater is the University of Washington, he loves being a Dawg in Coug country. He believes that God has planned a significant ministry for Liberty Lake Community Church through reaching the Inland Empire with the grace and transforming love of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Dennis R. McDonough
Pastor Dennis R. McDonough, Associate Pastor of Fellowship and Discipleship Contact: dennis@libertylakechurch.com
Education: Master of Divinity—Covenant Theological Seminary, St. Louis, MO
Affiliations: PCA (Presbyterian Church in America, C&MA (Christian and Missionary Alliance)
Personal: Wife Susan and four daughters.
Missions Experience: I have led teams in ministry projects with the Navajo (7 years), led teams to Mexico, 17 day mission and pastor’s conference to India.
Why I dedicated my life to God/ministry: From my earliest days when asked: “Dennis, what are you going to be when you grow up?” my response was: “I am going to be a preacher!” A school teacher and a few others suggested that if that was to be my profession, perhaps it would be good for me to change my ways. Apparently my Creator thought that to be good advice so He brought Jesus up close to do His life-changing work. It has been an absolute pleasure to serve Jesus as King.
My hope for LLCC: My hope for LLCC is that we become known for our people focused disciplemaking ministry that challenges the thinking and moves the hearts of s, teens and children to live intentionally as disciplemakers who are following the ministry style of Jesus.
Andrew Fouché
Andrew Fouché, Director of Worship and Youth Ministry Contact: andrew@libertylakechurch.com
Andrew felt God cultivating the gift of leadership in him at a young age as he observed his own Dad’s leadership in the church he grew up in. In High School when he started to read and understand the scriptures for himself, he saw numerous examples of God using young people to radically change the world around them. It is Andrew’s desire that the generation coming up sees and understands that God doesn't wait until you're an adult to have a relationship with you.
Andrew spent 4 years with Youth With A Mission where he led short-term (2 months) teams to various countries in East Asia. He’s been to 11 different countries, with China being his favorite.
It is Andrew’s hope for the Youth Ministry to grow disciples, reach out to those who don’t know God, and fulfill the purposes that God has laid out for us through his word. It is Andrew’s prayer for worship, as it pertains to our church, that we would come to truly know God as the object of our worship and that we would live lives of worship that include, but extend far beyond, just singing songs on Sunday morning.
Andrew is married to Jessica and they have a son, Jude.
