RECENT MISSION ACTIVITY AT LLC
HOME FROM COSTA RICA
From August 3-12, 14 people from Liberty Lake Church traveled to Costa Rica to serve alongside our missionaries, Steve and Gay Mean, and Roblealto Ministries.

(more photos and more coming soon!!)
From April 11-18, seven people headed to New York City to partner with our LLC missionaries, Tim and Julie Sigman who are serving with International Students.

The primary purpose of the trip was to help Tim and Julie host an Easter Outreach dinner for nearly 100 of the more than 60,000 international students in the metro NYC area.
Over the course of the week, we shared with students and people from over 50 countries around the world.

One of the great blessings was to interact with Tim's pastor at Vroom Street Church in Jersey City, Pastor Bill. (As seen in the below photo, L to R--Tim, Bill, and a new friend from Egypt)

As seen in the photo below at the Security Council Room at the UN, our team got a glimpse of God's heart for the world. (Our team L-R: Jesse Quirk, Bo Jones, Dan Ubaldo, Steve Allen, Sandra Coultrap, Tim Sigman, Dave Butler, Nicole Cogan)

LIBERTY LAKE GOES TO EAST ASIA

During the last two weeks of March a local team of 4 men traveled to Asia to cast vision how to mobilize 3 couples to impact a region where there are no known believers and no current work being done. This was a critical trip where three local congregations joined together in order to create a work that is sustainable and will have eternal impact.
Mission Vision of LLCC
As Hudson Taylor said, “The Great Commission is not a commandment to be considered, but rather a command to be obeyed.” With this in mind the vision of missions at LLC is:
All believers of LLC having the Biblical worldview that they are to be consistently and personally involved in fulfilling the Great Commission and the Great Commandment through praying, giving, sending and going.
We realize that shooting spiritual shotguns are not going to produce sustainable and reproducible works, but rather we want to shoot arrows. In our current position, we believe we can shoot and sustain two arrows and are launching those into Costa Rica and Asia, as we have missionaries on the ground, and they are focused on evangelism, discipleship, and church planting. Our intentionality there will be supported by our time, talent, and treasure.
Acts 1:8 states, “And you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and Judea, and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” As we launch into foreign lands, we also know that we are called to be missional right here in Liberty Lake and the surrounding areas. Opportunities will be given to serve locally as we fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
Finally, we want to educate, inspire, and mobilize people to live missional lives. Missions isn’t just getting on a plane, it is also walking across the street to love our neighbor and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Join us on this journey, as it will radically impact the way you live, you love, and you give.
