2011 Short Term Missions

APRIL 11-18   NEW YORK   Partner with Tim and Julie Sigman

The Sigmans work with the 60,000 international students currently studying in the greater New York City area, over 90% of those will never step foot in an American home let alone hear the Gospel.  We will host an Easter outreach for them; do prayer walks around the 10 new campuses they are looking to begin new works; man prayer stations within NYC; do service projects for inner-city kids; partner with a few churches in the area helping serve them; encourage and support LLC missionaries Tim and Julie.

AUGUST (TBD)   COSTA RICA  Partner with Steve and Gay Mean

The Means work with Roblealto in San Jose, CR.  We will be ministering to children and families suffering from spiritual, physical, and economic poverty.  Demonstrating the love of Christ while sharing Christ will be a cornerstone to this work. Doing work projects, interacting with the children, running activities, ministering to entire families are all ways that we will be able to encourage and support LLC missionaries Steve and Gay.

SEPTEMBER 14-28  ASIA  Partner with Evan and Kristie

The first part of this trip will begin by serving special needs orphans.  Running VBS, playing with kids, encouraging nannies and missionaries are all part of the journey.  The second half, we will have new opportunities to join in other orphan work, do work at a local church, visit and pray for home bound impoverished children, and teach conversational English to national students.
