Classes

Kindergarten, Prekindergarten and Preschool Classes

The instructional program for Kindergarten, Prekindergarten and Preschool includes:

• Bible truths,
• social and emotional development,
• reading readiness,
• number concepts,
• music,
• arts and crafts,
• small and large muscle coordination skills (physical education),
• language development,
• health, safety, science,
• cooking projects and social studies. 

Also included are show and tell, story time, films and field trips.  A nutritious snack is served.

In addition, the Kindergarten program includes:

• beginning reading,
• phonics,
• whole language,
• Math Their Way,

and other activities to specifically prepare children for first grade.

Self-image and Relationships
Developing a good self-image and learning to relate to peers and adults will be stressed.  An evaluation of the child’s progress will be given.

Preschool and Prekindergarten are included in the weekly full-time rate.  When a family pays the weekly full-time rate for a kindergartener, a percentage of the monthly tuition is added for the LLCSCC Kindergarten class.

Preschool/Prekindergarten is offered:

•   2-day (Monday/Tuesday)
•   3-day (Wednesday/Thursday/Friday)
•   5-day (Monday - Friday)

Priority is given to full-time child care and students enrolled for 5 days of Preschool, Prekindergarten or Kindergarten.
