Our Philosopy

Children need to:

  • Learn by doing. It is important to explore the environment with a variety of experiences and activities.  Children need to discover, experiment, ask questions, make choices, create, and solve problems.

  • Develop good self-image.  Each child is created special and unique by God.

  • Relate to and get along with peers and adults.

  • Develop language and communication skills.

  • Develop a love for learning.

  • Have fun, have feelings of success, happiness and confidence.

Teachers need to:

  • Love and interact with each child.

  • Communicate and establish an open, positive relationship with parents.

  • Plan developmentally appropriate activities which are age-appropriate and individually appropriate.

  • Plan activities for the development of the whole child, i.e. spiritual, emotional, social, cognitive and physical development.

  • Create a classroom environment which allows for child-initiated activities.
